This is a live giant sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) tree. This tree is short and bushy compared to others of its age and would be a good start for a bonsai. The buyer will receive the tree that is pictured. The tree will be shipped in the container that it is grown in, with the roots intact, and never bare root to protect the tender feeder roots. Sequoias will grow in all climate zones. You will have to be prepared to water the tree to get it rooted and during times of drought thereafter. Sequoias are not drought tolerant.
